Narita information

Fantastic museum, I will most certainly be returning here. Very interesting for aviation fans like myself, so many things to see and learn. Observation deck is fantastic, great for viewing heavy departures/arrivals. Aircraft outside the museum are very interesting too, some aircraft still had moving yokes within the cockpit. Great experience. Awesome selection of model aircraft too, available to purchase.

Very enjoyable place to visit with young kids. Outside there are selection of small aircraft you can enter, sit in cockpit etc. Great views of aircraft landing and taking off too.

If you are an aviation fan (geek) this is a must do on a layover at Narita. They have an excellent collection of displays and planes. I recommend doing the simulator experience. There is also great views of the airport to watch planes landing and taking off. There is also a simulated tower experience with a restaurant. I was able to Uber over. Getting back with Uber to a little longer bc someone had to come out. I was able to interact with out knowing much Japanese.
