In Narita, Freshwater eel was eaten for a long time. In the Edo era, it is pleased as cooking to entertain a customer visiting Narita, and Freshwater eel is taken in on a menu around the Naritasan Omotesando Street of about 800m by the trace even now in many shops.
Well... if you heading to Narita temples from Narita station you can't miss this street. Great experience of Japanese architecture and culture, nice shops, restaurants and bars. Joy for your eyes, spirit and stomach if you like Japanese food...
Love the laidback vibe and rustic charm of this street lined with a stretch of restaurants and shops. A good option for a stopover when you have a few hours to spare coming from Narita Airport.
Definitely worth a visit especially if you have a long layover at Narita. Was beautiful and have a hint into the culture.
