Let's stay at a guesthouse near Narita Station!

There are many business hotels in the Narita Station area, but did you know that there are also reasonably priced and unique guesthouses scattered throughout the area?
In this issue, we would like to introduce you to guesthouses where you can enjoy the charms of Narita while refreshing your body and mind, centering on “Retreat Narita,” a guesthouse with the theme of healing and experiencing Japanese culture!

Retreat Narita, a retreat guesthouse for mind and body

Retreat Narita is located facing the Omotesando Avenue of Mt. It is about a 7-minute walk from Narita Station, and there are many restaurants in the area, making it the perfect location and environment to spend the night before boarding your flight. Our host, Mr. Horikoshi, gave us a tour of the facility, which just opened in November 2024.

It is located in a building with a general store on the first floor and an Indian/Nepalese restaurant on the second floor. This signboard is the landmark!

Room types are dormitory and private rooms.
The dormitory has 3 beds each for mixed gender and women-only, and the price is a reasonable 3,300 yen per night.

Care has been taken to ensure that large trunk cases do not need to be placed inside the dormitory.

In addition, private rooms are available as triple or twin rooms and cost 6,000 yen per night.
The garden view is pleasant!
The balcony is also furnished with chairs and a table, so you can relax on a sunny day while enjoying the flowers and plants.

Toilets and showers are of course provided. While the facilities are simple, comfort and privacy are ensured.

You can also relax and have a cup of coffee in the common living room, and many people make friends with those staying on the same day.

Mr. Horikoshi says, “We do our best to support people who respect Japan and want to enjoy themselves to the fullest.“. I felt this sentiment was reflected throughout the guesthouse, including in the meticulous attention to detail.
In order for guests to enjoy Japanese culture to the fullest, they are planning to provide tourist information in English, as well as events such as takoyaki parties and game tournaments in the future, which guests can casually participate in.
To further deepen the “retreat” experience, we are also planning Pilates, Shamisen (three-stringed Japanese musical instrument) experiences, bike rentals, and more. We are looking forward to more and more in the future!
