Hydrangea macrophylla, about 7,000 hydrangeas including the Hakuyou hydrangea are planted in the precincts spreading out in the Sogo Reido Sanctuary Omoto temple back including a convention hydrangea. Above all, there is the Hakuyou hydrangea more than 1,000 stocks and there are few places where only this is seen in with much Hakuyou hydrangeas and pleases the eyes of the tourist.
During a period, a koto, a performance of the erhu are carried out in the Sogo Reido Sanctuary Omoto temple and the free tea party is held, too (free-for-all) and can enjoy elegance of a time.

大多数には、歌舞伎の宗吾霊堂ですが、地元の人には近所のお寺。昔は3重の堂があり、成田山のあとは電車でここへ来てと言うのが定番だったようです。7月初めは紫陽花がきれい。生前は小出監督が、正月良く来られていました。
目の前の甚平そばが有名で､子供の頃からなので かれこれ40年以上前から使わせて頂いています｡
霊堂そのものもなかなかのものですが、宗吾御一代記館(入場料700円）も、なかなか昭和の手作り感満載で、それを楽しめるユーモアのセンスのある方なら、楽しめるのではないでしょうか。ちなみに、周辺の小学校では、ここが校外学習の定番だそうで、誰もが一度は見たことがあるとのことです。
雰囲気も素晴らしく、ここに来ると気持ちが引き締まります。
