The Narita Station area is dotted with attractive gourmet spots that can only be found in a city where multinational cultures intersect. Among them, this time we focus on restaurants offering halal food!
The menu offers a variety of options for foreign visitors to Japan as well as for Muslims and health-conscious people in Japan.
Here are some restaurants near Narita Station where you can enjoy delicious and safe halal food.
ARC Indian Nepalese Restaurant
ARC Indian Nepalese Restaurant is located in Narita Kamicho. It is a well-known restaurant serving authentic Indian and Nepalese cuisine.
The restaurant's relaxed atmosphere makes it a comfortable place to spend time with family, friends, or by yourself. Not only the interior design, but also the background music in the restaurant is full of exotic atmosphere, making you feel like you are on a trip.
ARC is unique in that many of its dishes are halal-compliant. You can enjoy authentic flavors such as spicy curry, freshly baked naan, and tandoori chicken.
This time I visited during lunch time, so I will have the lunch menu.
These are “Vegetable Curry” and “Spinach Chicken Curry” from the Halal menu, which we were told by the waitress. The naan is so big that it sticks out!
Next are “Dal Curry” and “Butter Chicken Curry”. Then, the Cheese Nan, which is filled with cheese.
The staff is friendly and flexible in adjusting the spiciness of the curry, making this restaurant a safe place to visit. You are sure to leave with a full stomach.
Some menus are not Halal-compliant, so please ask the staff at any time if you wish to order Halal.

Men(Noodles) MIZUNO
Men(Noodles) MIZUNO is located in the Naritasan Ramen Street on the first basement floor of Sky Town Narita, a one-minute walk from JR Narita Station.
It may seem surprising, but there is a halal ramen store here.
The restaurant offers a whopping two types of ramen made with halal-certified ingredients.
The two are “Chicken Soy Sauce” and “Chicken Paitan Soy Sauce.”
There was also a firm halal certification posted at the front of the store.
As for the taste, the soup was rich but had a light aftertaste, making it an orthodox taste that was very easy to eat.
The atmosphere is one where one person or a group can feel free to stop by. Please try one of our recommended ramen for a wide range of people.

Halal Food(City Center Mart)
This is a grocery store, not a restaurant, so eating and drinking are not allowed in the store, but we would like to introduce it as a halal food store.
Halal Food (City Center Mart) is located right outside the East Exit of JR Narita Station. It may be a little difficult to find for first-time visitors.
Here, you will often see foreign residents of Narita shopping. The store is lined with products written in foreign languages.
The store offers a wide variety of products, from meats, spices, and frozen foods to daily necessities such as seasonings and snacks. There are also a few products here and there that are rarely seen in Japan, so you can't help but pick them up and check them out.
We checked with the clerk to see if halal food was available, and he said that there are not that many products that are clearly “halal certified,” but it depends on the availability of the product.
This is Halal instant noodles.
It is a safe place for those seeking halal food to shop.

Enjoy Halal food!
Although we were able to confirm that only three stores in the Narita Station area clearly offer Halal, it is a great attraction to be able to dine and shop with peace of mind while enjoying the authentic taste of Japan. If you are visiting the Narita Station area for sightseeing or business, be sure to stop by.
