A Boeing 747 welcomes you! And a real jumbo jet engine!

The first thing you see upon entering the museum is this huge jumbo jet engine and a large model of a Boeing 747! The powerful space makes one's heart dance.

There are not many places where you can see airplane engines so closely.
The projection mapping explains what kind of mechanism is used, so you can check it out in detail. The explanations are easy to understand with movement and sound.

You've probably never seen a cross-section of an airplane before, have you?
This is the kind of structure! This is a fresh surprise. The cargo hold of an airplane is so much bigger than I thought it would be! I naturally let out such a voice.

Free access to the passenger cabin of a passenger plane!

Visitors can see and touch the interiors and seats of passenger planes, which they cannot observe at leisure even if they normally use airplanes.

It will be possible to take commemorative photos that would not be possible in an actual aircraft!

Visitors can also see a mock-up of the cockpit used in the movie "Happy Flight".

Challenging to fly a jumbo jet!

What a surprise! You can experience piloting this large model in the cockpit and move this large model.

When you operate the cockpit controls, such as putting the wheels in and out and operating the control stick, the model moves accordingly, making it easy to understand how the airplane moves under your control.

Fun for Kids! Let's learn about the work of Narita Airport through hands-on experience!

This exhibition room is filled with large screens and touch panels that allow visitors to learn about work at Narita Airport!
The production is colorful and digital, and children will surely enjoy learning about it.

A 1/800 scale diorama of Narita Airport and the surrounding area is displayed in the center of the exhibition room.
When a button is pressed, a light bulb glows, making it easy to see where things are located. Comparing the Museum of Aeronautical Sciences with the runways and other facilities, it is easy to see how large and spacious the airport is.

The view from the observation restaurant and the observation exhibit room offers a great view of the airplane!

The 4th floor Observation Restaurant is a spot where you can enjoy your meal while watching airplanes take off and land at Narita Airport.

You can spend a relaxing time while enjoying an in-flight style lunch or a Narita Airport ale.

On the fifth floor is the Observation Display Room. Here, too, you can get a close-up view of airplanes taking off and landing at the airport. Just watching the traffic in the sky, you can't help but watch as various aircraft come and go.

There are about 20 aircraft outdoors!

About 20 aircraft, including the YS-11, which is one of the Museum of Aeronautical Sciences' most famous exhibits, are lined up in the museum.
Since it was just before the summer festival, a yagura was set up in the center, which was lovely and photogenic.
